IMPACT OF GLOBALISATION AND INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS
Abstract
It’s been a long on going debate around the issue of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Although there are still some people refute the social responsibility of business institutions, many others has seen it as increasingly important now a day, especially within the context of globalisation and international business. Based on literature and many researches in the past, this article describes best business practices for CSR and the impact of globalisation and international business. CSR is associated with the conduct of corporations and in particular whether corporations owe a duty to stakeholders other than shareholders. Whilst the phrase ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ may be gaining momentum, the concept itself is not new. The question as to whether corporations owe duties to broader stakeholders has been debated at various times throughout the globalisation era. This article consist of introduction about CSR concept and the debate, best business practices for CSR include management tools for implementing, the impact of globalisation and international business. Finally, the author gives conclusion, future research suggestions, and implication for managerial.
